Overview

A Scratcher is a digital card in the ACTV8me system where one or more areas contain concealed information which can be revealed by scratching off an opaque covering to reveal offers, prizes and messages. A Scratcher SET is referring to set of Touch type triggers delivered to the user in sequence.

Select Application

You must select an Application to create story cards. See the Application section for information on how to create Applications

Scratcher set Functions

Create Scratcher Sets

1. Click on the menu in the upper right corner
2. Click on Settings
3. Click on Scratcher Sets (under Advanced Settings)
4. Select an Application
5. Click on Add Set
6. Click on the Scratcher Name field and enter the name of the scratcher set
7. Enter the Start Date and Start Time
8. Click on the Daily field and click "Add New"
9. Attach Touch Trigger. Repeat as necessary
10. Click on the Bonus field and click "Add New"
11. Attach Touch Trigger. Repeat as necessary

Daily

The Daily field delivers a sequence of scratchers to the end user every day. These scratchers reveal prizes and special offers.

Bonus

The Bonus field delivers a sequence of bonus scratchers every day that are used to reward the user for a specific action or behavior (for example, if they share the application with someone through social media)

Prize Rules

The Prize Rules are comprised of the odds and frequency of winning a prize

1. Click on Prize Rules in the upper right corner
2. Enter the odds of winning the prize (for example, 1 in 10,000)
3. Enter the quantity of prizes that an individual user may win in a certain period of time (number value)
4. Select the unit of time from the drop-down menu (for example, days)
5. Enter the URL for the prize (this will direct the user to the page or site that allows them to claim their prize)
6. Enter the dollar value of the prize and the quantity of prizes that will exist in the pool
7. Click "Submit"

Edit Scratcher set

1. Click on the menu in the upper right corner
2. Click on Settings
3. Click on Scratcher Sets (under Advanced Settings)
4. Select an Application
5. Click on the three blue dots to the very right of the selected Scratcher Set and click on Edit.
6. Make your edits (Edit title, date, time, Prize rules, order, remove triggers, etc.)
7. Click Update

Duplicate Scratcher Set Sequence

1. Click on the menu in the upper right corner
2. Click on Settings
3. Click on Scratcher Sets (under Advanced Settings)
4. Select an Application
5. Click on the three blue dots to the very right of the selected Scratcher Set and click on Duplicate.
6. Enter a new Sequence name or keep the auto generated one
7. Choose the date and time for the duplicate Sequence
8. Click "Create"
9. You will now be directed to your newly duplicated Scratcher Sequence.

Delete Scratcher set sequence

1. Click on the menu in the upper right corner
2. Click on Settings
3. Click on Scratcher Sets (under Advanced Settings)
4. Select an Application
5. Click on the three blue dots to the very right of the selected Scratcher Set and click on Delete.
