Story cards

Overview

Story Cards are digital cards which are used to deliver messages and offers to the end user. They can be ordered sequentially and they can be easily switched out and enabled or disabled.

Application

You must select an application to create story cards. See Application section for information on applications.

Story card Functions

Create Story card

  1. Click on the menu in the upper right corner
  2. Click on Settings
  3. Click on Story Cards (Under “Advanced Settings”)
  4. Select the application in which you want to place your Story Cards
  5. Click on the empty card + icon
  6. Click the Name box and enter the name of the Story Card
  7. Click the Button Text box and enter text. This text will appear on the Story Card button
  8. Click on the Button URL box and enter the URL. When the button is clicked, the user will be redirected to this URL.
  9. Click on the Button Text Color box and choose the color for the button text. Click Confirm.
  10. Click on the Button Color box and choose the color for the button. Click Confirm.
  11. Click on the Button Action box and select the action.
  12. Click on the Select image button to select image for the story card from the Media Library.
  13. If the desired image is not found in the Media Library, you can upload a new image by clicking Upload to Media Library.
  14. Click on the Select image button or drag the image file to upload.
  15. After the file is chosen you can add up-to 3 tags to the selected image file for future use.
  16. Click on the Upload button and select the uploaded file from the Media Library. Click Done.
  17. Click Save.
  18. To create another Button for the Story Card, click Add another button to card.
  19. Follow the above steps to create another button on the card.

You can show a maximum of two buttons on a story card.

To Disable a Story Card:

  1. Click on the menu in the upper right hand corner
  2. Click on Settings
  3. Click on “Story Cards” (Under “Advanced Settings”)
  4. Select the application in which the Story Card resides
  5. Click on the Story Card from the Enabled section.
  6. Click on the Active box to disable.
  7. Click Save
    This story card will now be placed in the Disabled section. It will no longer be viewable in the Enabled section (You will now be able to delete this Story Card if you wish).

At least one Story Card needs to be active at all times. You cannot disable a Story Card if there is only one active Story Card in the application.

To Enable a Story Card:

  1. Click on the menu in the upper right hand corner
  2. Click on Settings
  3. Click on “Story Cards” (Under “Advanced Settings”)
  4. Select the application in which the Story Card resides
  5. Click on View Disabled Cards to go to the Disabled Story Cards section.
  6. Click on the Story Card that you wish to enable
  7. Click on the Active box to enable the story card.
  8. Click Save
    This story card will now be placed in the Enabled section. It will no longer be viewable in the Disabled section.

To Update a Story Card:

  1. Click on the menu in the upper right hand corner
  2. Click on Settings
  3. Click on “Story Cards” (Under “Advanced Settings”)
  4. Select the application in which the Story Card resides
  5. Select a story card to edit from the Enabled section.
  6. Edit the desired fields and save.
  7. If you want to edit a disabled Story card, Click on View Disabled Cards.
  8. Select the disabled story card that you wish to edit.
  9. Edit the desired fields and save.

To Delete a Story Card:

  1. To delete a disabled story card, Click View Disabled Cards.
  2. Select the disabled story card that you wish to delete.
  3. Click Delete.

You cannot delete active story cards. You must deactivate a Story Card before deleting it.

To Reorder Story Cards:

  1. Click the REORDER tab
  2. Click and hold the Story Card that you wish to reorder and move its position.
  3. Click Save order

You cannot reorder inactive story cards.
